1. Leadership Skills

Leadership begins with identifying and understanding our values. Our values are our fundamental beliefs. At MGPS, we want our students to develop self-confidence, which underpins other important qualities, including humility, authenticity and assertiveness. These student leadership qualities make it possible for them to hone the skills necessary to develop core leadership competencies.

2. Well-balanced International and National Curriculum

Our curriculum is a combination of International Cambridge Curriculum and the National Indonesian Curriculum. We believe that a well-balanced International and National curriculum provides children with the skills, knowledge and understanding they need to develop into well-rounded, informed individuals.

3. Solid foundation for future career

At MGPS, we understand all that goes into building a successful career. We work with our students to help them reach their goals. We believe that a strong early learning foundation is the ladder to ensure a future where they can adapt and thrive.

4. Highly globalized information technology

By Integrating technology into our existing curricula,it increases student engagement, helps teachers improve their lesson plans, and facilitates personalized learning. It also helps students build essential 21st-century skills.

5. Global Perspective

Adding Global Perspective in our curriculum , encourages our learners to develop a sense of their own worth and pride in their own particular social, cultural and family backgrounds. It also encourages them to develop a sense of worth of others, particularly of those with different backgrounds to their own.

In addition, it also helps our students to develop global competencies which include the attitudes, knowledge, and skills to work in today’s interdependent world and strive for a sustainable, peaceful, and inclusive world.

6. Scientiťc Inquiry

In MGPS, our Science curriculum aims to help children develop basic scientific ideas and understanding about the biological and physical aspects of the world, and the processes through which they develop this knowledge and understanding. Teaching the scientific method to students is teaching them how to think, learn, solve problems and make informed decisions. These skills are integral to every aspect of a student’s education and life, from school to career.

7. Manipulative Approach

Our teachers understand that manipulatives provide a concrete foundation for learning abstract ideas. There’s no substitute for firsthand experience. As our students manipulate objects, they take the necessary first steps toward building understanding and internalizing math processes and procedures. Manipulating objects allows students to explore concepts at the first, or concrete level of understanding.

8. Creative Thinking and Analysis

At MGPS, we give our students activities and assignments that involve thinking broadly and deeply using skills, behaviors and dispositions such as reason, logic, resourcefulness, imagination and innovation in all learning areas at school and in their lives beyond school. It helps our students develop capability in critical and creative thinking as they learn to generate and evaluate knowledge, clarify concepts and ideas, seek possibilities, consider alternatives and solve problems.

9. STEAM

It is an eduational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thingking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, and persist in problem solving.

STEAM empowers teachers to employ Project-based learning that crosses each of the five disciplines and fosters an inclusive learning environment in which all students are able to engage and contribute.

10. Sustainable Development Goals

MGPS aims to give our students the knowledge, skills, attitudes and value to become socially responsible global citizens and shape a sutainable future.
